2013[]
March 31 - The board officially opens as an April Fools' Day joke at approximately 10:14 p.m. EDT, with the announcement "Unlike the other new boards, this is being added on a permanent basis. If it doesn't pan out or goes unused, you should probably check your privilege." A privilege checking thread is stickied, followed by the 5555 GET soon after.
April 1 - A thread praising feminism with a picture of le nervous frog is stickied.
April 4 - A thread posted by a mod containing Penn Jillette wishing fellow as[s4s]sins a good morning is stickied.
May 1 - prime minister face starts the original kek thread. This thread has its bump limit removed and 404s on June 25 after approximately 6,539 replies.
June 2 - The original le sticky man thread is stickied.
June 25 - The original kek thread 404s, after 6,539 replies.
June 26 - The "more kek" thread is made, which also has its bump limit removed.
July 22 - The "more kek" thread 404s, with around the same number of posts as the original. Several more kek threads are made after by prime minister face, but they autosage at the bump limit (300 posts).
July 29 - A doge thread is stickied.
July 31 - Another sticky man thread gets stickied with instructions for newfriends.
August 6 - A thread is posted inviting [s4s] to a party on /sp/. Originally this was advertised heavily on /sp/, but mods began banning people, so after Captain Kek and Ananamoose pleaded with mods on /q/, the party was relocated to [s4s] with a sticky.
August 11 - A new le sticky man sticky is made after many requests on /q/. The reply record is to occur in this thread.
August 15 - An anon posts "I will samefag reply to my post until 4chan dies" in the sticky. With the help of a few others, his post gets 4,563 replies (doubling the previous reply record from /mlp/'s 10M GET) before the thread eventually 404s and kills Foolzashit's archive of the thread. This anon would begin going by the name "eternal samefig" shortly after.
August 19 - A sticky man thread gets stickied, with the text "those who accept kek into their lives shall claim the donut man's fortune."
August 21 - New sticky: the music video of a rap about 4chan made by "rapper" Josef on Deck gets stickied and auto played.
August 28 - swaglord stickies a thread with a picture of some "fresh from the oven" Sticky Hands.

September 3 - moot creates a sticky, asking if porn dumps should be allowed.
September 4 - moot says "You guys are my favorite. Thank you for all that you do." in the sticky concerning porn dumps.
September 9 - A cate thread is temporarily stickied.
September 10 - mot brings back #fortune by posting a thread with the fortune "Good news will come to you by mail", enabling them on [s4s]. [s4s] quickly exploded with #fortunes. #fortunes were previously used throughout /b/ in early 2007. swaglord also makes another sticky showing newfriends how to use #fortune.
September 14 - scrubmaster makes The Great Fignewton Guide, which becomes a sticky.
Late September - scrubmaster's guide 404s, being replaced by a blank sticky with spooky unicode in the name and subject fields.
October 3 - A thread with no image and no text gets stickied.
October 8 - A thread is made showing newfigs a friendly guide to what post numbers are doubles and what post numbers are not. The thread is stickied for about 2 days.
October 9 - The first septs GET on [s4s] - 1111111, the infamous fig newton GET. The thread was stickied shortly after.
October 15 - A thread that autoplays a video of a bear playing with a tetherball is stickied.
October 18 - A thread autoplaying a video of a doge with music gets stickied.
October 21 - A thread by eternal samefig where he posts "I have the feeling that we are going to have a sticky soon :^)" and gets dubs is stickied.
October 25 - For Dubs or Money, the 2nd [s4s] album, is released and stickied.
October 31 - A very scary sticky for Halloween.
November 5 - 1222222 GET - Needs more towercat.
November 12 - The 1222222 GET is stickied.
November 25 - In a string of unsuccessful kek threads, prime minister face makes yet another kek thread. Unlike the previous ones, the bump limit is finally lifted off of this one. The thread reached similar proportions to the first 2.
December 8 - After over 2 weeks without a sticky, a thread by eternal samefig where he posted le sticky santa and got quads is finally stickied.
December 22 - the [s4s] proudly presents: "Greatest Gets" album is stickied.
2014[]
January 15 - A post by Getter Robo is stickied. "LETS BREAK THE REPLY RECORD"

January 22 - /a/ friend's post is stickied with a link to a YouTube video of Tyrone complimenting [s4s].
January 27 - An emotional video of world-renowned musician Mark Gormley is stickied. This is the first moment in [s4s] history in which three posts are stickied at once.
February 18 - Getter Robo's reply record sticky is unstickied, and a blank le sticky man sticky takes its place. However, when the thread reaches Page 11, very strange things start happening - the thread temporarily stays at the bottom of Page 11, and then more and more threads started getting added to Page 11, and eventually more pages were created. All threads that were created after could be viewed in the catalog, but could only be posted in via quick reply, as accessing them directly gives you a 404 error. There were reports of 504 bad gateway errors when making threads as well. It ended after 28 pages had been created. Most threads on [s4s] at the time are deleted, including the kek thread and Getter Robo's reply record. It had 11,916 direct replies and 13,519 total replies.
March 16 - Post number 1777777 occurs and is stickied, a picture of Richard Stallman. "remember"

March 17 - A post containing an oriental man feasting upon a donut is stickied. A rude poster telling eternal samefig to kill himself is banned in the ITT.
March 21 - The Asian donut man sticky is unstickied, and the 1777777 GET is stickied instead.
March 31 - The 1844444 GET is stickied, a topkek thread wishing [s4s] a happy birthday.
April 1 - [s4s]'s first birthday! :^) J. Jonah Jameson of the s4s tribune returns, posting several detailed & epic articles concerning recent(ish) events, including an interview with mot. His thread is stickied, along with a mod post IRONICALLY claiming [s4s] is going to be shut down.
April 3 - An ass thread created by le shit nigger is stickied. It is met with negative responses.
April 9 - A thread saying "Mods are asleep. Post Le About To Sit Man." replaces the Tribune sticky. The 1888888 GET occurs, it is a modified picture of Bateman with no text.
April 10 - The 1888888 GET is stickied.
April 18 - The return of le sticky man.
April 25 - A thread starring le sad frog is stickied.
April 28 - A guide for fignewtons is stickied.
April 29 - The fignewton guide sticky is replaced by a kek thread. 14 other threads are stickied, with 15 stickies (or a whole page) in total. This was in response to a post complaining about stickies losing their novelty. (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) (8) (9) (10) (11) (12) (13) (14) (15).
April 30 - 14 of the posts are unstickied, leaving only the kek thread. A test post is stickied.
May 6 - Two threads are stickied - one with a GIF of kids dancing with the word "FUNPOSTING", and another with a picture of a business man with the text "memes", which got trips.
May 12 - The stickies are replaced by a walruse thread and a CAW CAW CAW thread.
May 15 - A thread introducing le flufe meme is stickied.
May 16 - Another thread is stickied - this time with a meme named "pistache".
May 23 - Both stickies are replaced by a bananan sticky.
June 10 - Two threads replace the "bananan" sticky. The first reads "verdananan", and changes all text below it into the font Verdana. The other thread features the latest 'n' greatest "badio" meme, and reads "a badio new sticky".
June 23 - "le pec man" meme is stickied.
June 25 - A gentoo thread is stickied.
June 27 - A Homestuck general is transformed into papyruse by swaglord several posts in. The thread is stickied shortly after, and is met with controversial replies. The thread was opened because Homestuck generals were recently banned from /co/.
July 2 - A "belaruse" thread is stickied. Later that day, a mod post is also stickied.
July 4 - The Belaruse thread is unstickied. swaglord creates an /s4s/ thread, wishing us all a happy "froth" of July. It contains an embedded GIF of Olly in front of an American flag. The song "United States of Whatever" is embedded too. A duplicate thread is posted on /b/ and later stickied. It has the text "WE ARE THE BURGER" colored red, white, and blue. Later on, the thread had waving American flag GIFs added to the background at the top of the page.
July 5 - Two threads replace the stickies - the first warning users of [s4s]'s high irony levels, the other introducing a new meme (get killing).
July 9 - An Argentina vs. Netherlands thread is stickied because mods on /sp/ hate funposting.
July 10 - "spot the eggplant" is stickied.
July 11 - Two new threads are stickied. The first is Kekkats announcing his retirement, the second is the 2255555 GET, which contains the new meme "mac".
July 14 - THE STICKIES ARE REPLACED AGAIN. "shamp" and "doot doot".
July 15 - The doot doot sticky is replaced by a thread explaining "THE MODAL ONTOLOGICAL ARGUMENT FOR THE NECESSARY EXISTENCE OF LE ABOUT TO SIT MAN".
July 18 - A failed combo thread is stickied.
July 21 - The 2300000 GET is stickied, along with a Bane thread containing the 2299999 GET.
July 29 - A "check them" thread and a zugzug thread are stickied. "Check them" is unstickied later that day.
July 30 - The zugzug thread is unstickied and is replaced with a CAW CAW CAW thread as well as a Bird Appreciation thread.
August 1 - Le sticky boogaloo when the two stickies are replaced by a thread asking how people cope without a sticky.
August 4 - A doge thread is stickied.
August 5 - swaglord's fignewton guide is stickied.
August 7 - Three threads are stickied; a thread showing how to check your fortune, an "awoo" thread, and a thread requesting music for /s4s/'s fourth OC album.
August 11 - The sticky requesting music for "Songs to pork it to" is replaced by a new thread. Two other threads are stickied later on; the first a "mods pls sticky" thread, and the second an [s4s] flowchart.
August 13 - A flowre thread is stickied.

August 27 - /s4s/ is raided with anti-anime posts at the request of /b/'s 565 mil GET. The moderator swaglord stickies a thread claiming that animes are cool in response.
September 2 - Mods sticky a le funny banana thread.
September 4 - A moderator stickies 17 threads, which extend all the way to page 2 and leaves [s4s] with 12 pages. (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) (8) (9) (10) (11) (12) (13) (14) (15) (16) (17). The le funny banana thread remains stickied, which brings the sticky total to 18. This beat [s4s]'s previous sticky record of 15, which was achieved on April 29, 2014.
September 5 - All threads are unstickied except for the "heh" thread and science magazine thread. Two additional threads are stickied; one a screaming thread, the other a "why the fuck does a restaurant" thread.
September 8 - Mods sticky a "yee" thread. Another thread containing a drawn representation of a sticky is stickied several hours later.
September 9 - [s4s]'s fourth album, Songs to pork it to, premiers on plug.dj/kek. A thread anticipating the event is posted on [s4s] and stickied.
September 15 - A le donut man thread is stickied.
September 17 - Sheldon's Comedy Night is stickied.
September 18 - New meme: botle is stickied. Two other threads ("How to Eat Dogefruit" and "How to Sticky a "How to Eat Dogefruit" Thread") are also stickied.

December 4 - A thread containing a pic of le meme gmone is stickied.
The Day /pol/ invaded
December 7 - /pol/ is given numerous improvements, such as word filters, trigger warnings, high levels of shitposting, and all posts being dubs. It devolves into utter chaos, and remains in such a state for approximately one month. swaglord opens a thread on /s4s/ to raise awareness of these improvements, in which he uses mystery surprise boxes and opens a portal to /pol/. In the ITT, Anon asks for swaglord to sticky the dank "wew lad" meme on /pol/, and he complies. /pol/ is not pleased with these improvements, however, and invades [s4s] to claim it as their new home. A thread is stickied in response, saying "POST ALL OF YOUR DANK MEMES TO DRIVE OUT THE /POL/ UNFUNPOSTERS".
December 8-9 - /pol/ continues to invade [s4s], and the post rate increases greatly. 13 threads are stickied to drive away /pol/; (1) (2) (3) (4) (5) (6) (7) (8) (9) (10) (11) (12) (13). This brings the sticky total to 15, which takes up the entirety of [s4s]'s first page. Another thread containing a repost of the fignewton guide is also stickied, but is deleted shortly after.
December 10 - swaglord stickies a papyruse thread that turns all text below it into Comic Sans. A meme test is also stickied.
December 13 - Spoiler images and spoiler text are implemented on [s4s]. An extreme new meme of a Pikachu with a messed up face is stickied, along with a modpost introducing surprise text (spoilers), and a thread for creating new surprise box images.
SURPRISE
December 15 - Six of the spoiler images posted in swaglord's thread replace the default spoiler image. These include a surprise box with the text "YOUD BE SURPRISE" (later corrected to "YOUD BE SUPRISE"), the original surprise box, bury pink girl, Bateman, spurdo, and topkek.
December 18 - A thread introducing "ebin the carpet" meme and a Flowre thread are stickied.
December 29 - Two threads, Time for lime and le holy hoho, are stickied.
2015[]
January 4 - Two threads, sleeping pizza and a Get Killing thread, are stickied.

January 7 - A thread in which the OP asks to have their post stickied if they get dubs is stickied because they got dubs. The thread remains stickied only for a short time. A Lemon Line thread is also stickied, and swaglord opens a portal there which leads to a Lemon Line thread on /b/. The first post of the /b/ thread has the Lemon Line character art written in yellow text and is presumably made by swaglord as well. He also possibly makes another post in the thread where Lemon Line is said to be the most epic meme of 2015. This post is special because it is written using a big font size.
January 8 - User Rules of /s4s/ are stickied. The "sleeping pizza" thread is unstickied later that day.
January 9 - A thread with an embedded video about dank memes is stickied.
January 12 - The Lemon Line thread from January 7 is unstickied.
January 13 - The thread with the "dank memes" video is unstickied, leaving User Rules of [s4s] the only sticky until a "recycl ebin" thread is stickied later that day. swaglord starts a thread in which he checks his own dubs. The post includes the text "CHECK 'EM :^)" which is written in big Comic Sanse. The thread is stickied.
January 15 - The User Rules of [s4s] and "recycl ebin" threads are unstickied, and a "resting pizza" thread is stickied instead.

January 24 - A "saying bye and not leaving" thread is stickied, but the moat appreciation thread stays on top. All stickies are unstickied later.
January 25 - The 3000000 get occurs which goes to an epic new meme face, ":]]". The thread it occurred in is stickied.
January 26 - swaglord creates an imageless sticky which has the new meme :]] face in size 8 font.
January 27 - A "Meme Master Defenders Thread" in which people choose their meme character is stickied.
January 28 - swaglord's :]] and the 3000000 threads are unstickied. A "new meme" thread by swaglord is stickied.
January 29 - All stickies are unstickied, except swaglord's new meme which remains sticky for a few hours. The board is without any stickies after that.
January 30 - After a period without a sticky, a Bane thread which tries to hit the post limit is stickied. A few hours later, a thread where a new newspaper, named The Aged Fig, is introduced is also stickied.
February 2 - All stickies are unstickied. A thread with a picture of Michael from Vsauce and "cereal is soup >:D" (in reference to this video) is stickied. a new meme called "le angle man" is stickied.
February 3 - swaglord stickies and embeds Benin's national anthem in an /int/ thread dedicated to drawing from memory the greatest Finnish contribution to the global community, Spurdo.
February 4 - Chaika gets the 3033333 GET saying "chaik 'em", the thread is stickied. swaglord gets trips and stickies his thread.
February 5 - A thread in which Anons post memetic variations of a Paul Blart: Mall Cop poster is stickied. Namefig korchak registers dankmaysmays.com, and takes suggestions from Anons on what to add to the site. Features include "The Swamp" (a message board), funny memes, a link to Myspace, and pages with annoying embedded music.
February 6 - Three OPs expressing their disdain for stickies have their threads stickied (1) (2) (3). An OC meme, "le happy hat" that shows a template of Pharrell Williams hat, is also stickied, along with the dankmaymays.com suggestion thread. The sticky-thread count is now six.
February 7 - A thread in which the OP asks /pol/ redpill them about furbies is stickied. There are now seven stickies on [s4s].
February 8 - The stickies about stickies are unstickied, and so are the furby thread and le happy hat. A cowe thread is stickied.
February 9 - All stickies except cowe are unstickied.
February 12 - The cowe thread is unstickied, and a cross-board post-peeking thread is stickied.
February 13 - The cross-board post-peeking thread is unstickied. Two new stickies are added. The first one encourages users to make Valentines using our memes, and the second one gives tips on how to take purple-coloured poops.
February 14 - The Valentines thread is unstickied (but is restickied after some time?). The purple poo thread is still stickied.
February 17 - All stickies are unstickied. After a few hours, a vocaroo thread about "a meme so supreme you let out a scream" and a Brendan Fraser template dump thread are stickied.

February 23 - A thread in which the OP says they will keep making and samefigging their thread every day until mods stick it is stickied for some time. The thread was made on February 17. After it is unstickied, [s4s] is again without a sticky.
February 24 - Two threads, dips fedora and a parody of the "anime was a mistake" Hayao Miyazaki with moot, are stickied.
February 25 - A Smug Zone / #justwojakthings thread is stickied. An ASCII Thread is stickied. After several hours, the "dips fedora" thread is unstickied and le tricky bar is stickied instead.
February 26 - The "anime was a mistake" Hayao Miyazaki parody thread is unstickied.
February 27 - The "Smug Zone / #justwojakthings" and "le tricky bar" threads are unstickied. Ween doge is stickied for several hours. However, it gets unstickied in favor of a Fore! thread (in which OP got a perfect Fore!), which is now on top of the front page.

April 1 - [s4s]'s 2nd birthday!!! :^) The Lel Times returns with a brand new special magazine issue that was stickied almost immediately.
April 2 - Swaglord sparde and The Lel Times comeback are unstickied. A meme called "lek" is stickied.
April 4 - Lek is unstickied.
April 7 - Two threads, Pepe archive and sperdo, are stickied. A "draw Bane" thread is stickied later and placed between sperdo and Pepe stickies.
April 9 - All stickies are unstickied. A Fefe thread is stickied very shortly after its creation.
April 13 - Fefe is unstickied.
April 19 - traine beare is stickied. Many anons and namefigs express their disdain for swaglord's posting and stickying policy and demand he is banned. A thread claiming swaglord should be exiled from [s4s] if the OP gets dubs is stickied (and the OP got dubs).
April 20 - traine beare is unstickied. The thread in which the OP wants swaglord to be exiled remains stickied for some time. After the thread is unstickied, the board is without a sticky for a few hours, until swaglord starts and stickies a thread about blazing it (because it's 4/20).
April 21 - The 420 thread is unstickied, and [s4s] is again without stickies.
April 22 - Three threads (pep, anime OC, and Washington) are stickied.
April 23 - The Washington thread is the first to be unstickied. After a few hours, pep and anime OC threads follow. [s4s] is then without a sticky for a short time before a thread parodying the board culture on /mu/ is stickied.
April 26 - The /mu/ parody thread is unstickied, and after a very short time, a thread promoting a new Lemon Line website is stickied in less than an hour after its creation. The site is also added by korchak as one of the secret pages of dankmaymays.com. In addition, the site appears on danklemons.tk (which is basically a portal to the copy on dankmaymays.com).
April 28 - The Lemon Line website promotion thread is unstickied and a thread asking for the 2014-2015 [s4s] meme compilation is stickied.
April 29 - The 2014-2015 meme compilation thread is unstickied (after a new compilation is made) and replaced by le wobbly dog thread.
May 1 - le wobbly dog is unstickied, and a bird thread is stickied.
